Pulse is a versatile device, we packed a lot of features in it. For starters, its shape and design is an important factor for its performance. On the top, there is enough room for all the antennas, so that Pulse can obtain the best signal possible, even at remote locations.
Second, the shape acts as a natural protection for all the connections below. That ensures the longevity of the product while shielding any sensitive sensors or electronics.
At the front, a high efficiency solar panel is harvesting energy to provide power for the data transmission and for any wired devices connected to Pulse. If you have any wired peripherals that need extra power you can always connect a larger solar panel, or for indoor applications, use the USB-C port to keep Pulse charged.
To know the status of Pulse at any given time, we have included some LEDs to let you know if everything is working OK. And if we reach our stretch goal, we will include a 1.8” OLED instead, so help us spread the word.

SLIDING MODULE SYSTEM - SLI
To accommodate the needs of every use case and scenario, Pulse has 2 modular sliding module slots for extending its functionality. The sliding modules can be inserted into Pulse to add features that are not present by default.
For example you can add a sliding module for sensing light, movement, gasses, or to add ports to Pulse, such as BNC, USB, Ethernet, etc.
